Well, I managed to get some more time on the buggy over the weekend (two weekends in a month) on started some more hacking and welding of the chasis.  Have a been a little over zealous with the grinder???

This is so I can go down the route of having the fuel tank in the nose as talked about in this thread.  The bottom of the hole has been re-inforced with some inch web angle iron and this has then been welded to the plate which forms the footwell.  it has made the whole front solid again which is what I wanted.  I just need to start welding in the brackets for the radiator and the fuel tank and that is the this part of the front all welded up ready to paint.

I'm a long way off yet, and the regs might change again by the time I get around to finishing   Cheesy
