Hi, my name is Danny, and I have been addicted to buggies for about 10 years now. My Freestyle buggy was registered on the road in 2003, and I am pleased to say that I am the only owner of it, and it is my pride and joy.
MuddyBuggies was started in 2003 because I had a really hard time finding information on buggies, and I had a hunger for knowledge but when I could not find it. I was getting very annoyed, and so I decided to start this site and hopefully over the last 10 years you have seen it grow to be a fantastic resource for kit cars and road buggies.
I have driven all over Europe in my buggy, and I have experienced some of the most exciting and thrilling roads, right from flying around the French alps and playing on the switch backs in the Pyrenees mountains. Yes, I have put an awful lot of miles on the clock, and I have had to get over a many a tricky breakdown with the group of friends whom I traveled with.
What I love with the Freestyle kit car is that it is very eye catching, and once I had seen it in a kit car magazine in 2002, I knew it was the choice of a car for me. I love the simplicity and ease of access to the engine which makes servicing and maintenance a real pleasure.
The aim of MuddyBuggies is to get buggy owners from around the globe together, and so we can share our stories along with the thrills and spills that goes along with any kind of motoring. Although we are primarily a road legal buggies owners club, we are a very friendly car club, and we do have a few quad bike owners along with some other quality kit cars.
