Bigger Tyres

I have 13" wheels and the tyres are 175-50-13, the ground clearance is very low so I thought I might be better off with a bigger profile tyre, 175-60 or 175-65.

I know the spedo will need re-calibrating but will this have any effect on buggy handling or anything else anyone can think of?

I run 195 & 205 but on 15" rims, used to run 185 tyres though when on 13" makes difference to handling, they're still like a go-kart

Alan, when you had 185 width mini tyres what was the profile? just trying to see what extra ride height I can add?

I thought there was a post somewhere showing the differences in the 165/13 185/13 & 195/15 but can't seem to find it. @Danny you went with the wider tyres what did you go for?

I had low profiles then went bigger

I know Dave used to run 185/60 on 7x13 rims, they looked quite chunky, and my mate has 175/70s on his but they are a little stretched.
Maybe a 185/70 would be worth a try?
