Spilt some fuel on the off side rear arch and managed to mess up the matt black paint job, not the end of the world, will have to rub it down and re paint. You can see where it has melted the black and gone through to the grey primer.

Today the ally bracket failed, I saw it started to crack but lasted 700 miles before it completely failed. Unlike the front cycle wing when that failed it didn't cause tonights joy ride to end early and head for home. The top hanger took all the weight of the arch and it didn't rub on the wheel 😄 Need to dig out an off cut for a new bracket.

It wasn't just the off side bracket that had failed the near side rear also had cracked.

I had some steel plate that was powder coated so knocked a couple of brackets up (adding more weight at the wrong end of the buggy again).

Didn't get my evening run out but still taking the buggy into work. Pretty soggy this morning, first time we have had any rain in 12 weeks.

Sun soon came out at lunch.

A very quiet Felixstowe, workers still on strike.

All that is left of HMS Ganges, once a busy naval training base. The sailors once climbed that mast and the button boy stood on the top.

Royal hospital school, where all the rich seafarers sent thier kids.

Good run out, found loads of single track roads and when it was dusk there were bats diving over the hedges and across the road over head. 🙂 Good fun enjoyed that one.

Taxed the buggy at the beginning of July and have done 1000 miles in the last 8 weeks. Really good fun to drive, puts a smile on your face. Took a couple of people out in it from work and they were well impressed.

Stopped off at the Lotus garage for a quick peek on the way 🙂 always nice to look at an Elise 250 Cup or Exige 390 Sport. Not a fan of the Evora or Emira.
