Bit expensive for a freebie he found in the back of a building, TBF it's a bit expensive without a donor V5C & the receipt for the chassis, somebody a bit naive may buy it then find out the issues.

The way I see it is it's an opportunity to get a £10K motor for a lot less to buy one or build one and that doesn't happen very often.

Realistically you would go and get a running Mondeo with a 2.0 Zetec rather than repair that one but handy to have some spares.

You could trace the manufacturer and very possible to generate a bill of sale for the chassis. Some work to do with the paperwork but not so much with a Q plate.

If you have the tools and want a project all the bits look to be there and looks straight. Owner open to offers.

Doesn't look like a track car so it either wasn't finished and tested or the signs will be there if you dig deep enough.

If you can get it for any less than the asking it is a viable build and an easy return on investment and you can't say that about most cars.
