i might make me a bottom hose outlet as i dont like this one as it heads backwards to get behind the power steering pump then it turns sharp right now i dont have a ps pump i can come straight out and forwards towards the rad, the hose that disappears behind the exhaust manifold is the heater circuit and i dont see the need for a heater in a go kart lol, whats the other pipe that connects to the thermostat housing ? is that to allow any air to rise up to the rad or is that the water circuit when the thermostat is closed ?

Most just turn the heater pipes back on themselves as No 4 can get hot.

looping the hose it is then i dont want a number 4 hot pot
looking at the pff i think ive decided im cutting 18" out of it as thats convenient for cutting and welding back up

between the red lines snip snip

so if the wheelbase of an mk1 mx5 is 89" and ive just lopped 18" out of it becomes 71" but as im moving the engine 8" backwards in the front subframe it adds that much back on giving me a 79" wheelbase or there abouts
