dose any one now wot is the best seats to put in my buggy im 6ft4 tall i have the origanl seats from the kit the strap ones i need some thing with a bit more pading hope you can help me

i was thinking off cuting up the main frame and makeing it a bit wider to fit some normall bucket seat in do you no any one that might have done any thing like this or any thing along these lines thanks for your help

The width is limited a bit by the use of the Mini driveshaft components at the back, and it would look a little strange at the front if the wheels didn't line up.

One thing to bear in mind if you are only thinking about widening the cage in the middle is the sloping sides that go in to the front allow for the tie bars for the front wheels and also the correct spaceing for the wheels and wheel arches to be on full lock without rubbing.

you would probably be better off building from scratch than cutting it up and re welding it, what would you do about the front bulkheads?

Hi,

One of the Taunton buggys has been widened, with stepped sides to keep the front geometery the same.Works quite well, and looks ok too.

do you no where there is any pic off the wider one i would like to see wot it looks like before i think off any like that any way thanks for your help i did not think off the frount end linenig up
