yep carpet tiles they were 30p each off ebay, keeps the noise in and the cold out , put them up with a nail gun couple of hours at most

That's an auto by looking at the stick, but under £200 I would have thought, lots of them die of tin worm

anyway back to the buggy V5 auto it is, golf stripped and gone





I also liberated the steering column since I still cant find the original one I had

I also stripped the vw 2.8 V6 4 motion passat (audi engine) that was outside to make a bit more space, this is for a longer term project where I want to mid mount it to build a sand rail

the seats in the golf looked to good to weigh in so I half inched them too
I can cut off the iron work underneath and get them down nice and low
they are narrower than the plastic ones I was intending on using, which is good

well I now have a working brake pedal and the steering column is mounted but I lost my camera some where in the workshop so you will just have to imagine that bit lol

slides in and out 9" and goes from resting on the seat to vertical like a model T ford although not sure what benefit that is lol
