wiring up a fog lamp on a joyner buggy

I took my Joyner buggy in today to get it MOT'd but half way through the test the man said it would not pass as it didn't have a fog light so now I have to wire one up before the retest. Its sitting in the mot garage waiting for some parts anyway so if I get all the bits together I can wire it up at the garage. not ideal but there it is. so can anyone explain the simplest way to wire it up please. I need an illuminated rocker switch. so do I run a wire from the live terminal of battery up to the rocker switch, how thick does the wire have to be (ie amps ) then do I need an inline fuse , what amp should that be. then how do I wire it to the 3 prong rocker switch so it illuminates. then do I run a wire off the switch back to the fog light and then another wire off the other terminal of fog light and wire that to the negative terminal or an earth
thanks

You should be taking your live feed from the live on your headlight circuit & not straight from the battery
