Re: Petrol Tank

Problem with the tank, Kev, is that VOSA have recently changed the rules, so that the old tank and /or the adapted fire extinguishers we used to use won't now pass the test. So we are waiting patiently for someone to pass with a new tank before we all follow with that design.

Yeah, maybe 5 or 6 is more reasonable ... for my 8 or 9 I could get a MEV.

Re: Is it me or ??

Yep -- far too expensive. Worth a bit more than your average Blitz, being mostly new parts and registered as new. I might be way off here, but I wouldn't go over £9k, if pushed.

Fat *rse Rear End

A mate of mine is (possibly) after one of these for the back of an MR2 engined trike (if it can be made to fit. So. 2 questions:

Can someone who has one give me a set of brief dimensions (especially the size of the bulge at the top) ?

Does someone who has one want to part with it ?

Re: Lilspeed's "about flippin time" Freestyle Discussion Thr

Another quick rivet head solution is to allow them to settle to the bottom of the frame and then waxoyl them in place.

Re: My latest "Toad of Toad Hall" moment.......

Yeah, collie, the tR1ke looks good.

The eco-exo is (although it doesn't look like it) a two seater in tandem. Although I imagine you'd have to be pretty friendly with your passenger!. If I ever do build one I'd probably make it a single seater with a small locker to the rear.

Re: My latest "Toad of Toad Hall" moment.......

Didnt someone post that on here a week or so ago? Looks a lot of fun! Wonder what sort of final build cost youd be looking at? And what the re-sale value would be! That was me -- at the time it was just a net discovery ... now it's a fantasy ... might be the next project. Build cost ... you are loo...

My latest "Toad of Toad Hall" moment.......

After the trike is done ( which will still be a while yet) this is my latest fantasy:

Looks like a fun machine, if you go for the larger cc scooter donor:

Re: Mein Trike

cant wait to see this finished!!!! Nor can I !! Must admit I was getting a bit fed up with it, doing loads of fiddly jobs which didn't seem to be heading anywhere ( of course they were -- just didn't seem to be). But now that I have managed a little ( albeit improvised) ride, it's feeling a lot bet...

Adjusting ride height with AVO's

This is proabbly a pretty basic question ... but here goes anyway ... I want to lift the body of the trike up about an inch. Have got AVO shocks installed with the height adjusting ring wound about a third of the way up. Do I need a C spanner to wind it up further, and do I need to compress the spri...
