Re: Reverse lights

You take off the bottom of the housing, 4x screws, knock out the roll pins on the rods, spin the housing, rods back in, roll pins back in, you may have to spin the plate on the bottom can't remember now. But once you have done that the reversing switch hole is back where it ought to be , so you can...

Re: Reverse lights

Yes it would have had a reverse light switch, it's up the front though not on the gearbox. Do you know which way around your gearstick housing is? Does it look like this, or is it still original? 2010-04-03171310.jpg I personally hate having them in a manual switch because with all the will in the ...

Reverse lights

Would my metro gearbox have a reverse light switch?
Or is it easier to fit a toggle switch to turn reverse lights on & off ?

Yes that’s a bit more than I intended spending.

I’ve bought this from eBay.

Re: Intermittent fault

I’ve just ordered a more modern fuse box.
Whilst on eBay I ordered led rear lights plus led fog light & number plate light. Push button ignition & immobiliser & sat nav speedometer..... buggy hasn’t had a Speedo since I bought it 5 years ago ;D

Re: Intermittent fault

I’m pretty confident the issue is at the fuse box.
Every time the indicators fail , I wiggle fuse box & they work again for a few minutes.
Going to order a replacement as it’s looking tired

I recon its probably just some corrosion on the connecters. Start with the easy things you can get too first. No I’ve Still not got ...

Re: Sponsored sky dive to help fund operation for my niece

Quick update..... three years on & Jayla is doing really well. The operation was a huge success & had given her the ability to walk unaided. Another big opp coming up soon , both legs to be broken & re set (ouch).
I can’t thank everyone enough for the sponsors and support given.
