Re: Got a Freestyle Buggy at last!

Got my new fuse box installed, lucky I labelled everything up. Now its all working I just need to tidy it up.

Put together a wiring diagram while it was all fresh in my mind, no doubt this will be useful in the future. Will stick it on the back of the lid.

Also got one of these battery fuse terminals so all the cable is protected right back to the battery.

Re: Got a Freestyle Buggy at last!

New fuse and relay modules brought out to terminals and all belled out. Hopefully this should cure my little issue.

Got some decent relays also, not the ones that fall apart, IP67 rated so nice and secure.

Re: road leagal buggy wanted

I was looking at this race MK Indy if you could get it for under £5K it would be worth spending £1K on IVA as it looks like a tidy little build and it would cost you maybe triple that to build it from scratch and get it on the road. BEC's are probably more trouble than they are worth with reverse a...

Re: road leagal buggy wanted

That is one method, but to do that it has to go through an IVA test, think of this as a strict MOT, the cost of which is £580 with a retest fee of £120 so you need to factor that in along with any costs to make an off-road into an on-road. You can download the manual to see what you need to do on t...

Re: Suzuki based buggy

I'm on the east coast in Essex.

I remember seeing your buggy years ago on the buggy news website which was mainly for Chinese buggies which I had one at the time. It was good that Micra engine dropped in there nicely and definitely worth keeping, better than the Joyner 650's.

Re: Suzuki based buggy

That looks soooo much fun, I wish I had my own track or lived closer to you. I think I have seen some videos of you driving around that track before in a car and was that you in a Kinroad 650 buggy with a Micra engine? I saw this the other day, Corvette LS engine in, very nice build. Goes against th...

Sounds like it could be the starter motor. It is probably worth cleaning up all the elecrtical connections first.

Re: Dazon Superbyke 1100

Probably best bet is to keep an eye on ebay for parts.

Nice looking buggy, what does it go like?
