The team at J&R seem to only cater for the standard stuff "its for a golf!" kind of thing if you strip the CV's off the shaft and check the splines (i.e number of) you might find that the CV's are standard off the shelf parts - its just a case of matching internal and external spline s...

Hmmmm heat and ECU's never a good thing, but hell of a wiring job if its managing all the systems on the car - however sad people like me quite enjoy wiring like that - as Alan said get it out of the elements and the heat, I extended my ECU loom by approx 2-3 metres with no issues and mounted it ins...

ha ha thats a beast of a turbo, looks like im going to offset the turbo and mount it just above the gearbox (there is a handy mounting lug I can use) that way i can run the exhaust pipework from one side and it should fit better. ill mock it up and see how it looks (and then post some pics here)

Yeah Damper tech helped out when the shock makers refused to help me with the springs - will probably need to get new springs due to the weight change so will need to borrow the corner scales again ;D

ha ha to be honest it was a lot lower than that cos the tape holding the ends in place sagged!!!! :)

Quick update time!! - so been cleaning up the rear removable cage to get rid of all the old suspension mounts and what not, basically to make a little room for the back box / cat / pipework etc. I also chopped up the new stainless backbox (must be more careful with that angle grinder) to get an idea...
