K series engine to existing loom for 1275 A+ engine

I'm about to re-engine my Blitz2 with a VVC 1.8 K Series engine from an MGF... Not dealt with a K Series engine before anybody got any pointers as to how to wire it up to my existing ignition switch/look etc which is from a Classic mini, I will have the engine loom and ECU from the MGF..... As for the mechanical side of things I can fabricate the necessary framework to adapt the MGF subframe to my Blitz's frame, no problem....
Please help!?

Hi fella,

I used the full wiring loom and grafted the MGF ignition barrel onto the mini steering column.
Alan might be the one to answer your query!

I tried to keep my conversion simple ;D

Flying in the morning Danny, but with regards to the wiring I did the same as Steve, I took the whole MGF loom, grafted the ignition into the Mini column the cut out the wires I didn't need. With the Blitz you maybe able to use the actual MGF column by modifying the Blitz frame. Must admit it will all depend on what clocks you want to use, MGF or digital
