Electric fan

Postby 250buggys » Mon May 28, 2018 10:20 pm

The sucky mechanical fan I have installed causes my 12V electric fan to rotate, even on tick over so effectively I have a DC generator. Has anyone else experienced this and do I need to possibly install a diode? Please let me know your thoughts.
