Wheel bearings

Postby mibazza » Sun Feb 24, 2019 6:29 pm

Hi all, I'm servicing my Chinese XYKD-150 buggy and I have a loose wheel bearing I want to replace. Does anyone know how to get it out? I've tried a 50mm socket on the outer race and hit it with a lump hammer and nothing happens.ImageImage

Never seen these specific hubs & no experience with Chinese buggies, but the usual way is the centre (with the spline) has to be pushed out first, then once you've done that you'll find a circlip to remove, then the outer bearing will push (thump) out.

Have a look at this page Click Here then scroll down & enlarge Removal & Installation that should be the general principle
