Thanks I wasn't sure which way to go regards the wiring..... I think we do have a mini car loom but if it's more effective to make one then I can go down that route I will see what parts of the mini I want to use (binnacle, ignition switch etc) and work it out from there? I wish that one had...

Hi All.... I just wanted to find out what the general consensus is for the wiring loom on a freestyle? Is the best/preferred option to start with a mini loom and strip it back to just the essentials? Or have you guys doing builds from the kit made up a loom from scratch as it doesn't...

Hi All.... Just a quick update on the freestyle I have started stripping the corner sub assemblies from the frame over the last couple of weekends and it all went well. I will put up some photos shortly...... The plan is to get the frame stripped and prepped for powdercoat and go from there...

Perfect thanks I was going to ask the best place to get the rose joint from but I will check McGill out and see what they have got.

That's great and so helpful I think I will have a go and make up a set and do away with the bushes. Is that a normal mini track rod end? Ross

Hi Everyone Has anyone got info on the correct bushes for the rear suspension tie rods? These are the kit supplied (kit specific?) by the looks of it and I wanted to know which bushes are known to fit these as the ones on my buggy will need replacing and I wasn't sure if they were mini or...

Hi My freestyle came without the nose section so I will put the feelers out now for anyone that might have one or is willing to lend one out to have copied and then possibly have a few made so there is finally some stock of them out there so they aren't as rare as they are now! Thanks...

On the forum which section is best for starting a new build thread for a freestyle? I am new this this thread stuff tbh and just a bit of guidance would be VERY helpful to get my build thread started and how to add photos etc. and then when a build thread is started and I have questions that...

Thanks...I downloaded the PDF earlier and I was going to start into it sometime over the weekend and see what is in there that makes sense and what doesn't! hopefully it's quite straight forward but I know what the DVLA are like with their documents........! looking forward to the build...
