I also used them, wasn't very happy, the silver paint is very thin & rust showed through whilst the calipers were still sat in the garage. Also more importantly I had to return one of the calipers as the seals were damaged & it leaked when fitted. They did pay the return postage but only after asking twice.

Used em 3 times now, 2 x Mini (both 4 pot) one Mk2 Gti, never had a problem (so far).

But tempted to save up and get MiniSpares 4 pots

I would be wary of either 4 pots or the Minispares ones, the standard calipers will lock up easily in the wet & in the dry if pushed hard. I had 4 pots on mine when I bought the part build but changed them back to standard, they are adequate, but they are not as good as when I had the new style pedal box, but I don't know if that's down to the discs on the rear or the poor design of the old pedal box.

Run 4 pots (non vented) and found them very good.

Think its down to which brake master cyclinder you are using as well.
