Brake servo master cylinder

I've been reading about the options possible with the pendulum pedal box and whilst looking at one of the Mini's on my drive it has the servo assisted brakes with a master cylinder.  This would be ideal if it didn't have the servo bits fitted.  Can I quite simply take the internals of the servo master cylinder out and fit in the internals of the upright master cylinder in?

I would try but I don't want to end up damaging the cylinders as I would like to use the Mini's in the future.

Thoughts???

ps I can post pictures if required

The reservoir from that servo one will fit onto a metro MC (they look similar to the mini type 3 one but the inlets are slightly closer together and the outlets are both M10 unions rather than the M10 and M12? (I think it was a M12 but not sure) that you get on the type 3.

You can then mount the Metro Type 3 style in a Horizontal position and use the new pendulum style box.

You can't swap the internals though.
