drive angles

Eh!

Who knows!

There's so many variables.

Is the grassy hill dry, damp or boggy?

How much of a run up can get?

How high is the hill?

How much tread is left on the road tyres?

What size wheels are you running?

Straight answer :- You just keep trying till you bottle it, or you burn the clutch out or you roll over backwards! simple as that.

Jeremy Clarkson drove up sodding great a mountain on road tyres!

That's nearly as daft a question as "How far can you drive on a single sump of oil"

Come on... stretch the boundries here Ben.... !

Bit more helpfully

I believe all these buggies got up this muddy mound on road legal tyres. Wouldn't fancy it in a tin-top.

Year before last Dave managed to get up to the top of a 15 M high grass bank in the infield at Donnington, this was at least a 50 + degree or more angle from a standing start on the bottom of the hill with yokos all round.

I hade the same tyers but only managed to get half the distance before I was just spinning on the spot.

Going down was easy though.

The angle was such that you wouldn't want to drive sidways along it!!!
