Electric Fuel Pumps

Hello,

I am going to be fitting an electric fuel pump because when the webber is fitted I dont think the standard mechanical fuel pump is going to be up to it.

So what does this mean

Facet Solid State Fuel pump

Mini specialist sell these and I dont really like the look of them.

Any suggestions

I'm sure it dosent mater that much, they all suck...

What flow rate do you need for the webber, that is the starting point, when you know that you can look at what pumps are available. Some pumps will require you to also get a pressure regulator and or a swirl pot to help prevent surge.


I don't know much about webbers, but look at a haynes manual for a car that has one fitted as standard, and see what type of pump / flow rate it has, and or go to a scrappy and get one.

RIght I spoke to harris motor sport and they said the standard mini pump is perfect... thats good news also found out its got a duplex chain as well....happy days
