ps don't believe all the hype head gasket failures. Yes they do go, but if you keep an eye on coolant levels and have a later type gasket fitted, they are lot more reliable. Point to note is that if it has failed in the past it is vital to check the head for damage/alignment before you get it fixed else it will just be a weak point.
Preferably I'd like another kit car instead of a manufactured car! Plus I had an S1 Elise for 3 years, so would constantly be comparing the MG to that!
As for the robin..... :-[ lol
I quite like the idea of just getting a convertable Herald and keeping it as it is!
