Fitting nose cone

Hi,

picked up a fiberglass nose cone panel from dave a couple of weeks ago and am now trying to work out the best way of fixing it to the chasis ?

First idea was to bolt it on thru the chasis tube on either side. How has every one else fixed it ?

Dave has drilled through from inside the cockpit into the chassis down rail, however once the steering colomn is installed you can't do that so I have made external brackets.

Fitting nose cone was very straight forward. We have welded 4 tabs onto the chassis tubes which the fiberglass nose cone just drops on to and fixed with 4 bolts.

Just need to drill the tabs out and fit riv nuts and its done.

I rivited a length of right angle aluminium along the flat edge at the top. I then put a hole in the middle of if and a hole in the cross bar, and use a riv nut in the crossbar and a bolt it to the cross bar.
