Mirrors - again!

Right -- have just acquired an ABS frame (therefore without the later style wing mirror mounts).

In the old ABS build manual it makes reference to the mirror as supplied needing spacers if going for SVA. What are these spacers? And is this still the case ?

Or -- do I need to weld on some stalks ???

we welded stalks on but if u r afer been road legal we had to put a peice of steel around the bar cuuz if there is any sharp edges oi will fail mot

if you look at this picture you can see the stalks & plates that I mounted my mirrors on as supplied by Dave.







Only problem you have is with the powder coating unless you are removong it like you mentioned I think in another post. If you want measurements just ask I think Mr Bumble has the same ones, if not somebody else will oblige. As another option you could do what RichardG did & mount them lower, you can just see them on the orange buggy, I'm sure there is a better picture somewhere.
