MOWOG the bug

It started a year ago.
I wanted a two seat off roader and thought I could build one cheaper than I could buy one, (well thats what I told my wife).  
I thought if I used mini subframes I could knock up a body to go between in no time at all.  I hadnt seen or heard of these free stylers it just seemed a logical layout at the time.  
Here is the layout drawing I came up with.

The next question we ask ourselves when endevouring on a project like this is why dont we make it out of wood?

Seen as wood is doubtfull add a little glass!

What we have is a monoque body made from glass cloth sandwiching 7mm tanalised pine ply.  It is very light and rigid.
