First of all, Many many many thanks go to Alan for Transporting me, my Daughter and the Donor Mini from Bradford to Chesterfield. Dunno how I would have done it otherwise. Thanks mate, you're a star! 8)
It was a long day but we did it! and I'm sorry about the flat tire, how the hell we managed to get a puncture from 18 inches of steel bar and not do any damage to your truck I'll never know!? :?
Well when I finally got home, my Dad had already been checking it out, we found somebody did a good job tarting the engine up (ex Metro engine), and the fron subframe is in good nick and erm, how the hell anybody could think about restoring it I dunno! There's more rust than panels and possibly the absolute worst crash damage repair I have ever seen in my life!
But hey I have my donor and now the fun begins!
