Road Legal Buggy

I am looking for a road legal buggy, either a kit/started/unfinished project or complete. I want something with reasonable performance and handling, this is my first venture into buggying so any advise would be helpful.
I have had several powerful road bikes and a Caterham so I am not a novice in that respect.

got a 2 seater blitz 1 , mini based.with prob scrap 1000cc engine. for complete rebuild. needs lots of parts. hasnt been registered, so if you fancy a lot of work. £350.if you want pics , send email address. geof
