Rubber Cones

My buggy always used to lean to the right as one of the rubber suspension cones was really old and worn. Well doing my engine swap I decided to fit new rubber cones. Wow what a difference - it has increased ride height by at least 2 inches at the rear. Ideal for trialling as I need good ground clearence but probably not so good on the road as the rear now sits very high with the suspension almost on full stretch and I guess the road holding will not be so good.

Richard,

When I first built Mary, the cones where about the only bit of the suspension that I didn't replace. But soon after I too noticed she was leaning to the right from the rear. Some put it done to the FB who was driving  ;D anyway I replaced them with genuine Dunlops & it made a difference to the height, but if anything improved the road holding, they do settle after a couple of good runs.
