Seat Fixings

Could I please get some advice regarding the best positioning for the fixing of seats in a Blitz 2. I guess the ideal place is directly onto the floor but this doesn't seem to have the strength. I have no welding skills so it will have to be by using bolts or similar fixings.

on my freestyle they are bolted through the ally chequer plate on the floor

Same with mine, I put big washers either side of the floor for extra support

Cheers for that, although I have just put the seats in the chassis and they seem a little wide and are squeezed together somewhat. I have noticed some other threads regarding seats and shall take a look at those for hints on which seats are the best, although the seats that Max has used in his rebuild look like just the job.
