Weight... a problem or not?

Hello all

Still building...very slowly. Just been trying to clear the front garden (wife giving me ear ache) so I have to sell off the old trailor or put it into storage.....

I have a single axle (two suspension arms mounted to the chassis frame)
with 550 kg per pair marked on them. Will this weight capacity be enough for the final car when complete? If its OK with the weight, I will modify the frame to be a suitable drive on type car transporter (well, my own version anyway!)

If not then new marine ply to the base and sides (already stripped and painted with red oxide and two coats black) add the "other bits" back on and ebay here we come.

Thanks Guy's

At 550Kg you're just about on the limit, mine went on the scales at VOSA around 520Kg at the SVA. So by the time you've added the steel & plywood you're going to be very close.
