Bump Stops Front Suspension

Just realised I do not have any bump stops on the front suspension, was always going to drop the springs back off & fit them or try to drill from underneath. But do I need them?

I don't believe they would be covered by SVA, and I doubt the tester would even notice they were missing.

Going to be a good idea to have some once the car is on the road, obviously.

Good luck for the test, snowing here today

Was here yesterday & it's bitterly cold today, I have borrowed a dolly so I think I will be towing her down

Don't think you will need them for SVA but you should really fit them, especially if you intend to use it off road, if you don't fit them and you bottom out on something you will bend the end of arm where the coil and shocker fit, I've seen it happen (and not on mine!)

I removed mine to see if i could get any more suspention travel and found that the standard shocks bottommed out, which if left like it was would have resulted it the arm being damaged

Couldn't find the orginal Mini ones but had 2x Metro ones hanging round so fitted them.
