Donor Vehicles

can anyone tell me if it would be possible to use a written off/late model mini as a donor as it would effectively be getting reshelled when rebuilt as a kit? or would it be less hassle etc to just use an older donor car with mot etc?

I see no reason why that would cause any problems & is a logical way to go, you 'should' end up with an age related plate the same as the donor. Just be aware that post '93 cars will have to have a CAT fitted. You might have to speak to Dave about the logistics of getting from the manifold, through a cat & then into an silencer in such a short space, however the old adage exists "where there's a will there's a way"
