No mate, you wouldn't be this passionate if it wasn't for real, the kitcat world is a small place, I'm sure somebody will know where it is. I would have also thought that once the Police put pressure on ebay they will reveal the address of the buyer, getting the Police to put the pressure maybe the hard thing.

Alan...

Not being funny, smart etc about this, but its a stolen car.

I am willing to pay to get it back, so no-one loses out.

DVLA have the persons addy, they will pass it onto police.

Rather just pay to get him back asap.

Out of curiousity, L&O, did it have the highly tuned engine in when you left it wherever it was? By all accounts that was four figures worth

I just been sniffing around, don't know if you've already found this. But the seller of your buggy has now listed their services for a garage which specialises in MG and Alpha. This would seem to be the place the photos of your bug were taken because in the background of one of them you can clearly see a blue mg zr. On this other listing He kindly offers wto numbers, a landline and a mobile.
Here's a link:

And then if i take you back to the ebay listing I can show you the picture of the blue mg in the background. Also the picture of teh garage is clearly a small white garage big enough for two cars as is the one in the picture of the buggy:

The seller and the garage are both in cheshire, if it wasn't him selling it directly then he should have some contact of the person he sold it for ie the thief.
Hope that helps,
Max

I blew that one up  ;D

Was having fun with an rs2000, 2nd gear 7000rpm, bang.

Just as I went past him on the exit of a roundabout.

However, I do have an mg metro 1275cc with an avonbar sprint head in my shed waiting a rebuild, together with an mk1 mr2 to see if engine fits.

It did run a webber (have the dyno sheet for that) but was last running a hiff44, twin rads each side and as said that peco exhaust made it pop.

Did run A048r but they proved to be a bit expensive twice a year.

Should now be on 205/50/13 rear and 185/50/13 front, yokohama a539.

It's a real shame it happened in the first place... will the cops find the guy who nicked it and if so i hope he gets fined/arrested!
I hope you get back to getting him back on the road... by the look of the size of that engine bay, it could probably swallow a 4age engine!!
I look forward to seeing it at stoneleigh this year!

Will be sorting out a trailer (maybe a van too, so it just gets more expensive) sorted asap.

I have the 1275cc with avonbar head to go in (needs gaskets on engine) or get the engine out of the mr2 and drop in and see what happens.

Its just more and more money at a time when money is tight.

Thats life  :-\

Just happy I know where he is.

Coming soon, parts for sale to pay for this lol
