Front suspension looks like Triumph herald/spitfire (it's using the brakes so it's a good bet)

Whether it's worth having depends what the V5c says it is.
ian this is wat the bloke reply to wat it says on the v5 hi
The V5 document states Make :- special
Body type :- sports
on the VOSA ( MOT) database the car is described as Mini

In which case no IVA and no tax makes it a good little re-body project for someone for the right price.
Wouldn't be hard to fashion something better looking.
'obviously' you couldn't change the chassis officially but as a special who at an MOT station could contradict you.

Hmmm --- I wonder ..... if you ditched the body panels and welded on a roll cage it could look just like a freestyle  ::)  Dodgy bit is convincing all you have a 40 year olf freestyle !

Does it matter? I think it's pretty good as it is, back then there was no SVA/IVA to worry about you just did what you wanted. Wish I'd got room, then again wish I'd got some money.

I keep looking at this ... driving position looks a bit awkward though and, as a passenger, I wouldn't like staring down that handbrake.

Make a better single seater, albeit off centre.

Think of it as on the road, no IVA, if it sells for less than £450 it's not cost you anything & that's not including a re-test you won't have to pay for.
