Just another idea into the melting pot. MattBlack has been down for a fitting today & mentioned his brother-in-lawish does Hillclimb's in an Elise. He bought it earlier this year & he wanted to try it out before he started to compete. So several including Matt got together & hired Curbourgh sprint track for half a day. It's near Lichfield http://www.hillclimbandsprint.co.uk/pdf/cb.pdf cost them around £200 does anyone fancy clubbing together & hiring it?

We are always up for a track day! I went to Curbourgh a few years back with the Robin Hood owners club. Good fun little sprint track where you do single or double laps, one car at a time so no chance of contact with another car. If we can get 8-10 of us and keep the cost under £25 each it would be good value.

It's only a small sprint circuit (no Donnongton Park) but no, there's nowt to run in to, the first half is a tight twisty affair with a fast finishing right hand sweep. I've been round it on a bike and in a tricked up Elise and managed to keep it between the grassy bits but there have been a few idiots who've ended up wheels skyward from tyring too hard. Having said that, it would be cool to see the 40 having a go round it.
