Brake fluid leak...

Hello guys well today I headed to my yard to sort my van out and to do a bit on the buggy....

after a few mins I noticed that my footwell was full of brake fluid, big fricken puddle of it :-(

After a close look I see that its only come out of the reservoir so I took it apart to see if it was anything visible....

I I could see nothing wrong though, I took the rubber grommets out and rubbed fluid over them and re fitted them and refitting the reservoir and re filled with fluid seems ok now but not sure...

What do you reckon? The rubbers dried up??

I used to occasionally get a very small amount of fluid on the floor below the reservoir. I put it down to the fact it's a Fiat reservoir on a Leyland M/C & they don't fit exactly. But it seems to have now stopped.

master cylinder has shit itself :-( the leak is running down the piston :-( looks like i will be buying another one... and the arm is not going in at a bad angle either... so must be down to not being used much??
