Golf handbrake cable

hi i have just modified my hand break 2 golf gti calipers and added a pully system to compensate for the length of cable and the fact that you need to pull the cable longer than the handbreak moves so the pully does the job very welland easy to do , just need to find an old fashioned metal pully as the plastic ones break!

Interesting Jon, not an issue that I had, my Mini handbrake moved plenty far enough for the Golf callipers, where's the other cable for the other calliper?

Oops ignore the 2nd question, didn't see the 2nd picture

But I can see an issue with this, the callipers won't be able to compensate if one set of pads wears more quickly than the other I can see the handbrake only working on one wheel, hence why you normally have a compensator on the middle.
