power commader do they work?

hi got a rage r180 and thinking of putting a power commander on it..i know they suppose to give a smother power deliverly but do they give more hp?do they really make much difference? for how much they cost which is £278 of ebay new there are lots of second hands ones on there, which makes me think are people selling these because there a waste of money and dont really make a noticeable difference??

I looked into this.
With a motorbike engine , their has been a advancement in the power commanders over the last 2 years
Most of them being compatability with ecu mapping, as most hp bike ect come with ejustable mapping.

Some are good some are bad ,
Their are extensive reviews of muzzy, epi, and power commander , around .
Some people with different abilities notice the difference , some don't
Fuel would be the biggest for me as mine drink likes, a chav on Saturday night.

If you look at the engine manufacturer their is usually a recommended performance, version for power commander if you contact them .
