Rear lights.

Just looking through some pics of various Freestyles, and one thing im not overly keen on is the 'burger' style lights.

Would it be possible to get some lights such as these...

and mount them on the rear mud gaurds?

I was thinking for the fog and reverse light I could just use the rectangle hella items on a crash bar along the rear...

Would this pass the dreaded IVA?

I doubt you can't use either of those sets of lights as I suspect they are not E11 marked. However that would mean the IVA would have to check for E11 marks, I know on the buggies I submitted, I never saw them look, but that's not to say if they saw something they didn't recognised that they wouldn't.

As all these things, it's best to conform & modify later.

It was in the SVA manual that light had to have the relevent markings, I was worried for my SVA about my side repeaters but they were E marked, it is somthing that should be checked but I think that so long as they do the job for which they were intended, and they are not sharp you will be OK but check the relevant section in the IVA manual to be sure.

Nice one, im guessing Malcolm has the burger style lights, so if this is the case I'l use them to get through the SVA and change at a later date as advised.

Its just ideas at the mo as I dont actually own a buggy as of yet, just trying to get it together in my head as to how I want it to look!
