Tappet adjust screw

Hello

I have managed to break the Tappet adjust screw and when I tried swapping it from another set of rockers that were on the car the threads were different.... I need to order another one tomorrow but am realy confused.

Any ideas suggestions???

Hi,

The pressed steel rockers(850+earlyer 998's) and the sintered(1275+later 998's) have different size threads, so you will need to get one to suit the rockers that you have.
If you have broken the slot at the top, then cut it deeper with a hacksaw.

I have a set of 998 rockers from a 1989 mini, if you want you can bring your bust one over and we will see if one of mine fits.
