to anyone with an acewell

can i ask wot you have all used as an inginition warning light? i have a 3800 series with the warning lights round it but there isn't a warning light for ignition ( alternator not charging light). the unit i got does have lamps that are not used but there is no wires to them. is it poss to open the unit up to add cables?


any one any help?????

I've used the green N neutral light, but have had to put parrallel a standard bulb under the nose cone to excite the altenator into charging whern the engine is running.

I opted for the unit with no lights on and built a seperate light cluster using standard lights. Couldn't justify the extra cost for a unit with the wrong / missing lights on.

But saying that I have also put in a full dash that runs from one side to the other... This is since the SVA so not sure
