Will this engine fit?

A friend of mine has a blitz buggy with 1380 engine but wants to put an automatic engine and box in it, will this engine fit from an automatic metro

This is a K-series MG metro this is completely different engine to the A-series which is in the old mg metro and mini. In wich case no is your answer. Just search for mini automatic on ebay whether its an engine or a car they are very cheap. I think the difference between A-series and A+ is to do with the block so you will be alright inter changing gearboxes onto other a-series engines.
