Thanks Lee,

Arrived this morning safe and sound.

Anyone know which knuckles are best for the buggy? The normal ones, or the longer ones from the 90's? Hope it's the normal ones, just seen the price of the long ones

Cheers

Hi Ian
I have'nt got a clue mate i have'nt fitted mine as yet i'm waiting for better weather so i can get out and spray the chassis modifications i've made first! i was tempted to use the same knuckles depending on their condition so might well end up replacing them i have'nt seen the state of them yet as i need a cone compression tool.

I made my own cone compression tool.. Bought a piece of 14M stud (threaded bar) screw it into the top of the suspension place washer (I got a reinforcing one and drivvled a 14mm hole in it) then put on a 14M nut and tighten. Hold the top of the stud with a pair of molegrips while you tighten and you have yourself a suspension removal tool.. I need to chop the stud at some point as I think 1M long is a bit too much only need about 15cm tops....

I did the same thing execpt I used a long 14mm bolt which meant I could hold it with a spanner :D
