bike engined buggy

Hi there,

Does anyone know if any bike engined buggies were ever finished?

I had a look on ebay tonight and so this FZR1000 grass buggy on there which is chain driven to a weld Metro diff.

It looks quite compact compared to some bike engined chain driven cars I've seen.......and it's set me thinking  ;D

especially now mines sprung an oil leak

There was the R1 freestyle that gold sold last year after no progress in a looong time.... but otherwise non completed.... can't be hard considering how many mini conversions there are and it seems like good, reliable, value for money performance in a car that can cope such as the buggy.

You have one advantage Shaun in that yours is already on the road I think, any new one has to have reverse fitted for IVA which means more expense & space issues.
