...looks interesting!..... and there doesn't seem to be a restriction on types of tyre fitted either, -usually the rules state only road type tyres can be used, I've just got a nice set of 155x12 Mud and Snow tyres to use on some old Hillman Imp rims, which'll fit ok on my Blitz2's Mini hubs....

Not sure about the snow tyres. If you were thinking about entering call the organisers and check.

It does say "All vehicles must comply with the MSA Technical Regulations"

MSA rules:

11.12.6. Tyres must not be ‘Grip’, ‘Town and Country’,
‘M&S’ or ‘All Seasons’ patterns. The following tyres are
specifically excluded: Sterling (ATS) All Seasons
Remould, Michelin XRN, Pirelli P7, Uniband Rally Steel,
Goodyear All Weather Steel Radial, Goodyear Vector.

I would have gone to this as a spectator cause my buggy won't be ready by then.
Unfortunately I've got a bike day in an Exmoor forest.
If anyone goes I'd love to see some pictures.
Thanks, Rob.

I went to the trial & entered in my Joyner. It was the first time i had ever done one. I will try to find a couple pics to put on here.

It was ok , it was more about slow controlled driving rather than speed. There was a wide selection of cars there from Citroen AX diesels, Kit cars, VW passat & MK1 Escort.
