Exhaust exit height

Looks fine to me, I can't find anything in the manual specifically about it, except if its outside the floor line of the car it needs a radius of 2.5mm on the end (your can looks like it has a decent radius already).

When you look at what 7's and cobras do with their silencers and pipes yours will be nice and safe IMO. Plenty of 'real' sportscars have high exits for the exhaust sticking through the back panel, so height shouldn't be a problem.

Harder will be the noise test if it's a race can.

I can't see anything wrong with the positioning, I would if cost wasn't an issue put another at the other side as well, that would be the DB's. But are you going to be able to get that can below 95dB at 3k rpm or will a standard fit in the same place until after SVA?

Alan,
I have a standard R1 can, so will fit that for the SVA. Just dreaming at the mo with the yoshi pipe. This is all assuming that your tip with updating my V5 with the new engine overcomes the cat problem. Fingers crossed!

Thanks guys

Paul
