What have you guys done regarding your fuel tank breather pipe? I have been advised to simply run a small length of pipe rearward from the breather pipe on the tank. Someone else has suggested a vapour trap on the end. I have found a couple of these anf they seem to cost around £50plus --- which is a lot for something I might not need!!

I had similar problem.
My fuel cap is solid and no option for vented type, i found a 'roll over valve' wasn't cheap but basically its a small valve that fits into the top of the tank and allows it to be vented. Also if the car was to roll onto its roof it stops fuel from escaping the tank. Just going to have a tube on the end and vent it down to under the car, don't think there is any point in a vapoyr trap!........
