MOT

hi my GS moon is due its first MOT within the next week, never owned anything other than a car so not sure on rules etc, will i be able to have my buggy MOT'd by the usual car garage? also will it involve more than a car's MOT?
Is the cost anymore etc?

As far as i am aware its just s tandard MOT. You should be able to take it anywhere really and have it done  ;D Or at least thats what i understand  ???

I maybe completely wrong here & haven't Google'd it, but if they are under 450Kgs I thought they could be done at a Motorcycle testing station.

cheers guys, i phoned mr clutch who mot cars and they told me they dont do it??

the buggy is 345 kgs so might even try and test it as a bike

Hi Stew,

This is classed as a quadricycle, therefore you will have to take it to a specialist MOT centre

The MOT station will need to be able to test Quadbikes (if I remember rightly, class 2 or it could have been class 3).
Class 1 being motorbikes and so on!

I had the same issue when I had my road quad ;D which was amazing fun ;D ;D
