Onyx Tomcat

Hi
First post on here after buying (possibly the last) Onyx Tomcat kit.

It's in the garage sat on the trailer with the frame receiving a coat of paint.

Are there any other Onyx Tomcat owners out there or anyone who has built one of these as I have a couple of questions or definitely will have as the build progresses.

Welcome to the forum Billy, there is at least one other Tomcat owner, Herman aka Colin but many of the challenge's you will face are similar to Freestyle ones, so any questions ask away we'll do our best to answer. It's normally best to add pictures, which will give us a better idea.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
My first question is that I have a Clarke CES 750A engine stand and was advised that it won't take my metro A frame engine.
A rep from Clarke's says if I take use the bell housing bolts and some threaded rods from B&Q it should fit no probs.
Has anyone come across this before and if so what did they do ?

One of the posts reads "you will need an adapter plate to take the standard 4 bolt engine stand plate into two holes where the alternator bracket bolts to"

they have a couple of images on there of an "adapter plate" you may need to make

As Alan says i have got an Onyx Tomcat.
It is in the road, all beit sva'd in 2001.
But your more than welcome to fire questions my way or if it suits visit and see for your self what the tomcat is or can be.
