pop rivets?

Where the previous owner has pop riveted the sides onto my buggy, will the part of the rivet fall into the square section tube if I were to drill them out?

Only ask as I want to remove my side panels as im about to spray my chassis and 1. dont want to do it with the sides on, and 2. dont want rattly rivets floating about in my chassis!

I never hear my rivets rattling in mine.....lol

One possible solution would be to drill out the rivets and let them settle to the bottom of the relevant section, then stick a waxoyl tube in and give them a liberal coating to stick them down.

Yes the rivets will fall into the chassis, mine did when i drilled mine out to remove the sides.

Im not too worried as mine should be loud enough to drown out the sound of them rattling about
